I own a genuine Omega Seamaster (sword hands) having purchased matching watches for myself and Mrs some years ago...now looking for a decent replica Rolex to wear as a daily but it's a flipping minefield !

 

Thus thought I would join a forum to get some guidance and perhaps buy from a reputable member benefiting from your experience...

Seek out the trusted dealers on here. As @thegrail has said trusty time is a good dealer. Just make sure you use the dealers website as listed on the forum as there are, believe it or not, rouge/fake dealers who copy reputable rep dealers where you will get scammed.
