Danny Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 ...and I'm psyched. It's my first replica, so I was considering going with a Beginmariner or Noobmariner, but I like the SMP a lot more than the Sub, I'm a little iffy about going too cheap because I want my watch to last me a while, and I figured if I was going to make an investment like this (I work at Walgreens for eight bucks an hour; spending into the three-digit range is not light shopping for me), I might as well buy something I'm going to really love instead of throwing $100 at a test-drive watch that I ultimately won't be 100% satisfied with. I already can't wait to get it in the mail, and it hasn't even shipped out yet. I'll try to post some pictures as soon as I get it.

Since this is your first post, I want to warn you so you don't feel ripped off. It may take a few weeks to get your watch, but you have bought from a reliable source and you definitely will get it. The SMP is a real classic. Enjoy your watch. Bill

I understand you are impatient to get your watch. We all are. Anyway, I buy quite often from Andrew now (I'm lucky that I stopped smoking, almost and decided to spent all my savings in watches) and can confirm that I receive my watches after 7 days, allways. I'm based in Brussels, Belgium. In fact, once he sends the mail with the tracking number, I know I will get the watch within 48 hours. Have fun, Cheers Stephane
yt74 Posted January 24, 2007 Report Posted January 24, 2007 Welcome Danny, I hope you love your watch. And you better get a raise, this is and addictive hobby!
shultzie Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 I got my SMP 007 from Andrew some months back and its really a great rep - it took a little over a week to the States....of course it seemed like an eternity!
dannychad Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 What's Andrew's website so I can look at what he has in stock?
fitmic Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 What's Andrew's website so I can look at what he has in stock? Andrew aka Trusty www.ttwristwatch.com
Usil Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 I have ordred several watches from Trusty and they all arrived in perfect condition. It can take longer than a week sometimes so don't go balistic if it is not there in exactly 1 week. You will get it. Usil
Niloc Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 My first watch was from Andrew and from ordering to arrival in Scotland took 6 days. A brilliant service in anyone's book. Cheers
Rob1 Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 I recently bought a SMP from Andrew. It's a lovely watch and keeps great time. However, the small hour marker at the 3 o'clock position, next to the date window, is missing (it's there on a gen, and Andrew's photos also show it) and the crown is too long. Other than those things is a great watch.
