DuDro
There is a cool thread over at The Dark Side where people are showing off the AR on their watches....So I decided to start one here! Here are a couple "quick and dirty" shots to get this thread started... Let's see what you got!
Guest Sql_pl
Here are my pics: Love the AR on the Big Bang! The best one in a rep so far! Cheers!
DuDro
Love the BigBang! Considering this as one of my next purchases.... How large is your wrist? I have "smallish" wrists and I'm a little concerned the BigBang will look silly on me. Please advise. Thanks!
subzero1
Check my sig for a way to get real AR done on any crystal.

r11co
Hmmm. Interesting..... I'm of the opinion that anti-reflective coating (as the name suggests) should be unobtrusive, but I am seeing a trend that it is becoming something people are expected to notice - like a tint!! Some coatings simply change the colour of the glare. No thanks!

Most of the Panny reps seem to do this - instead of normal coloured reflections you get purple/blue reflections, but the reflections are still there... Usil
It is not a tint and only noticable from a certain angle. The pictures here I am sure the wearers had a hard time getting just the angle to take the picture. Usil

Agreed. I don't see this effect at all on my Breitling Seawolf.

Everythingape
'Obtrusive' AR on my 250.. (could just be my mediocre photoskills)
HauteHippie
Agreed. I don't see this effect at all on my Breitling Seawolf. I saw it on a Breitling Seawolf at an AD a couple weeks ago. It was unmistakable at certain angles. Any watch with industrial quality AR (especially double sided) will have a very slight tint. It's unavoidable. flavor flav
Flav which gen, what dealer, is that PO from? 1st gen PO from Jared. LOL! it's genuine. i think the AR coating adds another dimension to a watch and makes it have much more presence to it. funny thing is i hadn't noticed the AR when i bought the watch! it's the strongest i've seen by far. fotoman
I think the old fake AR was where you could hold your pam up at an angle and see a consistant tint across the crystal. The AR on my Gen Corum and on my davidson crystal and Ultimate PO you can see at certain angles the actual shape of hte glare in blue - like you see the light in blue. It takes out reflections and makes the dial easier to see - you can still see the sun or the lights but there isn't all that haze and glare that ends up on a non ar watch with the light bouncing all over the place.
