8o8 Posted April 2, 2006 Report Posted April 2, 2006 Well, took a ruler and measured the length of the strap to see what length I need to get the buckle to the centre of the underside of my wrist. And it turns out that I should have a 55mm strap on the buckle side. I noticed in a post earlier someone posted a few differnt standard length OEM straps that are available (XS & LL lenght) but even those were 68mm on the buckle end. most of the 3rd party straps I've seen are 115/75 in length. does anyone make them shorter? the big question, should I bother looking for a shorter strap?
rbj69 Posted April 2, 2006 Report Posted April 2, 2006 measure your wrist size, and then maybe we could help u
sailadams Posted April 2, 2006 Report Posted April 2, 2006 Well I have given up on our strap guys for ladies' straps. (What do Iso and baghandler do?) Did I call you a lady? Oops. Joshin'.... But for true, where do you buy nice straps for your lady's Pam? or Tudor Sub? or mid-size SMP? If you only need to take up another 14mm, you can put in a couple more holes with the 00 leather punch at Tandy leather for $7. Sources for ladies' straps anyone?
tutima Posted April 2, 2006 Report Posted April 2, 2006 There are not too many choices on short straps. You can try: - Pre-W from Wojtecki from the P Forum. He has some 115/70 for sale. - Strapmaster USA - Special order from Dirk - Special order from the regular Customer strap makers such as HKTan, Khw, etc. Hope this helps.
Thor Posted April 2, 2006 Report Posted April 2, 2006 Don has some XS-Straps in 65/95 and some short ones in 65/115 and 70/110 too Click here
