I do have a version of this, not King's righteous one, but very good just the same except for one thing... it has the date at 3 o'clock! which the gen seamaster/railmaster never did. Go figure. I don't know who the omega company wis was that replied to the Q about this model, but I remember seeing this gen seamaster with railmaster numerals on the official omega webpage, except that it was not a co-axial movement. Yes, I remember thinking, cool, a railmaster style without the premium price. But it disappeared before long. There was also at least one vintage 60's seamaster very similar in general appearance, but again not coaxial movement.

Do you think that one out of a hundred people actually notice your watch? Or that one out of a thousand might be fooled that it is a "real" Panerai, or Breguet, or IWC? Not one out of ten-thousand people have even heard of a Panerai, etc. The only kind of "rep" knockoffs I worry about are things like, say, brakepads, which might kill me and someone else if they don't work like I thought they would. Not fashion brands.

The one I sent out for service to a respected forum member 12 months ago I have not got back yet, so I don't have a good scientific comparison. Too patient am I, perhaps?

Well, the box has Beijing stuff all over it, customs is PRC, air mailed 10.6.06 for 176.00 postage. So yes, I'm saying it was delivered from Beijing. And your contention about that being odd and unlikely means what, omni? I just reporting the facts. You got something factual to say, or just what does or doesn't seem likely... ??? Such as, where is blade, if not Beijing, you know so much? Did I mention that I was surprised to get a box from Beijing? (I believe I did.)
