Pam 082 Amerigo Vespucci Blue Dial Blue Alligator Strap

I'm waiting for my Panerai 082 from Davidson and I'm going to order a blue strap.

The OEM is all blue but there is also a blue with white stitch available. With a quick photo shop adjustment you can see the two images.

I'm torn as to which one to get???

This is a nice strap, a TC sharkskin, one of which I own and can say it is a beauty. There happens to be a good sale on it today also.

I've been thinking what's the best strap to go with Pam 82 and so far only limited to contrasting stitches but I am sure you'll find a preferable choice to your taste Can't wait to see your photos

Please post pics when you receive. I have always loved that watch but was concerned about the dial and the caseback. I prefer the contrast as well and it is unusual for me as I normally don't on the black faces.

I usually don't like Davidsen's watches mainly because of the awful dials and the wrong size (case, cg, glass etc etc) BUT I must say that this 082 is pretty impressing...

The font on the dial is very nice and the colour as well although you have to see it in flesh to understand it...

I really want to see more photos when you get it

I would have gone for something in a contrasting colour. Preferably light/medium brown. With a blue strap on a blue watch the whole thing gets too blue for my taste.

for anyone who has gotten the davidsen rep;

Does the dial have that brushed, matte anthracite finish, or is it just flat?? Can't tell from the photos.

Pics on at least one other forum do show it to have that streaky look. Whether it is exactly the right shade of blue I have no idea though.
