slickdick Posted April 2, 2006 Report Posted April 2, 2006 the seller claims it to be. http://cgi.ebay.com/Valjoux-72-paul-newman...1QQcmdZViewItem anybody can share some light on the movement shown in the pic? Thanks, Job
slickdick Posted April 2, 2006 Author Report Posted April 2, 2006 the pic does show a 3 register chrono afaik
slay Posted April 2, 2006 Report Posted April 2, 2006 that looks like a regular lemania (venus) copy movement... the 12hour register will not work, even if you get it repaired! thats probably why the seller said it will only work 15minutes or so
the collector Posted April 2, 2006 Report Posted April 2, 2006 Look at the other items this seller has, they are all as beautifull as the movement. It is totally crazy the movement bids are over $500... nuts
eunomians Posted April 2, 2006 Report Posted April 2, 2006 There is a scent of rotten fish in the air... Lemania 4 sho. Idiot iz gonna make some fat endz on dis won. Winner will b seething. It's alwayz funny 2me that buyers don't do a little research be4 bidding. As 1 (of a pair) of circus masters once said: "there's a sucker born every second". To add to tha mix, Vallejo's finest E40 also has been sayin' "dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb"... And tha beat goes on...

Your post sounds like a (scary) hybrid between bres3000 and the klinkster
slickdick Posted April 3, 2006 Author Report Posted April 3, 2006 the venus copy is a 2 register, the pic clealry shows a 3 register, so i think it is not a venus copy
slay Posted April 3, 2006 Report Posted April 3, 2006 you dont seem to know very much about movements then! this lange has the exact same movement (and also the parts which you say is the 3rd register)
