Pam-O-licious Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 I recently bought this watch and think it is a great watch for the money...
Watchmeister Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 I have often admired that watch. Great buy.
chris5264 Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 No doubt that is a great watch,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,one of the best deals for the money of any watch I've seen.
Defender110 Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 i too have often admired these x-winds.. many hamiltons use quality eta movements at an excellent price point. nice purchase. :-)
Guest avitt Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 Nice watch! Hammy's are fantastic values. I've got a GMT with a similar case. I'm actually planning a little customization (DLC the case, Bill Yao hand set, AR). I like your rubber strap...aren't they soft? Mine came with a SS bracelet, and I was able to get the OEM rubber (with white stitching) from watchbands.com for $38.

The Tri Rotating bezel is really nice and the 7750 mvt is very smooth.. I will try and take more pic's of the watch and up date this thread. They are fairly soft I guess.. I do like the way the Latch on the the Back case.... I am actaully trying to buy a SS band for this watch anoyone know where I can buy it at a good price .. p.s. what is DLC the case? an AR on this watch is a great idea
Guest avitt Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 DLC is a PVD process that produces a very hard coating.
Dario33 Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 What is the excellent price point that these watches go for?
Pam-O-licious Posted January 30, 2007 Author Report Posted January 30, 2007 (edited) What is the excellent price point that these watches go for? They retail for about $1000-1300 and can be had for $600-800 Edited January 30, 2007 by RonCast
chris5264 Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 I've seen some x-winds go for as low as 450 (usd), actually that is what I got mine for. You have to see the dial in person, very nice and all the screw down crowns are totally smooth.

However, I frequently see them go on ebay for less than $500 bucks. They are quality timepieces.........
