kernow Posted July 28 Report Share Posted July 28 I’ve had a closed factory Seamaster for years now. It ‘was’ a Bond 40th Anniversary model but had long since changed to a PO/Seamaster hybrid. Does anyone else have a closed factory Seamaster? Asking as I’d like to know if the case backs are interchangeable with gens. A member here did a swap with me, but my caseback doesn’t fit his watch (I don’t know the factory of his watch). So that’s not going through. If a gen fits mine, I may go and buy a gen caseback if I can find one at a sensible price. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
freddy333 Posted July 28 Report Share Posted July 28 You might find it easier to purchase an entire gen (or gen-spec, aftermarket) case rather than just a case back, which would also eliminate the question of whether the back would fit the case. & -- as a bonus -- you would end up with 1 less potential tell in the process.
