shultz
Does anybody know if the new steelfish (which is promised as waterproof) has a working He valve? As far as I remember the Avenger Seawolf rep has that feature. What do you think about the pearl of the new steelfish. Is it me or does it look not that close to the gen? Mickey Padge
The pearl does look a tiny bit larger on the rep. As for the HE valve I doubt it is functional due to the 1000m water resistance claim the factory has made. I could be wrong though
andreww
Does it really matter? Nobody (unless your name is Cousteau) will ever have a use for it.

Indeed: My name is shultz-cousteau But honestly: I was just interested because such a He valve isn't a big thing. You can find inexpensive diver's watches with working valves. But the really important thing to me is the waterproofness. I doubt in 1.000 meters but 10 bar would be nice.
