cpaman
Any chance we will see one of these from our dealers???
ratchpot
I hope so. But given how poor the Mark XV rep was, I'm not getting my hopes up at all about this one. Besides, I think the design of the Mark XVI probably isn't as good the Mark XV. The new pilot's chrono, on the other hand, is an amazing watch. cpaman
I currently have the Mark XV Spitfire on SS bracelet. I would like to get the chrono version, but too many horrer stories about Asian 7750.
eunomians
I'd like to see a MK XVI rep. I am sure most of Europe, N. America/ S. America, Africa, Caribbean, Australia/Oceania, S. Pole and Asia would, too.

FxrAndy
The problem is that it is sooooooooo simple to make they are bound to [censored] it up like spell IWC wrong.

It took years for a MK XV. And it still is incorrect. There is something about simplicity being the most difficult item to replicate.
erwinner
I like it even better with the croc-strap; Great contrast with the black-n-white dial: Also size is excellent for wearing as a dress watch with a decent pin-stripe suit! Only need is to fit in a decent (ETA) movement and make sure the datewheel matches the dial. Than offcourse the hands might be more less-ordinary than usual. Replicating the soft iron inner case would be a bit overkill for a rep I guess. Edited June 10, 2007 by erwinner
