HauteHippie
What about your Franken,Chief? It has been mostly done for a while. I just need a new set of hands. With the current hands it is too silly looking to show photos. Got any spare MBW sub hands Tribal?
By-Tor
@frontin: That's the exact same model that I briefly owned, too. Mine was originally from River. Still the best TT Sub there is... that SEL/last link thing is just a bummer though... So you're saying that the gold has been keeping up nicely after 2 years? Are you wearing the watch regularly? Hmm... maybe I shouldn't have sold mine... Nice watch.

Hmm... maybe I shouldn't have sold mine... Nice watch. Yes. The gold is in great shape! It has been 4 years not 2. The center links are gold through out, not plated or wrapped. I was adamant about this when I bought it because I knew I would be wearing the watch a lot. I have buffed and polished this watch at least 6 times with my dremel with wenol cream or with that "never dull" wadding. I clean the gold with toothpaste when it oxidizes once a year. I think if it was plated it would have turned by now! I have invicta's that are 6 month's old and the "swiss gold layering" is already wearing through without even being cleaned or polished. It's a real nice watch. I'm glad I bought it.
