Can you show us a photo of what you mean?

A lot more info is needed before anyone can say if they can fix it or not.

The crow came off with a piece of the stem still in it.

So no way to wind or ajust the watch anymore.

I saw a pic of the same watch on the forum, which had same problem.

Seems all SMP Pro Chrono 28800bph have weak crown/stem

Have you asked the dealer for a replacement?

I have the watch since december and had some issues with the dealer.

The watch broke past week.

I don't do any business with her anymore, so contacting her is no option.

Can you fix it, Pugwash?

I could, apart from I don't have the spares. If you can source an Asian 7750 stem that's long enough, I can put it all together for you.

I have no knowledge about it whatsoever, but i read the Zigster replaced the stem with an original one and all problems where resolved. :)

I have, according to The Zigmeister this should be the right one with 0.90mm tap:

3 stems/ Cal. 7750 / Tap 0.90mm / Length is 18,84 mm - it says VALJOUX - ETA on the package.

Finally found a very experienced (20 year) watchmaker in my own country. :thumbsupsmileyanim:

No heavy mod stuff, but servicing and repairworks.

He's now occupied to fix my SMP pro Chrono with broken stem. I was lucky to find some stems on the bay.

Thanks to all guys who were very helpfull, zed, The Zigmeister,

Pugwash, who even proposed to fix it.......??, tourbillon1801, vaccum and many others.

Thanks again!!!!

I wasn't prepared to fix it before moving house in case there was a delay getting it to me. It'd have been lost forever then ...
