erwinner
After buying Panerai's 231 and 090, IWC GST Chrono, TAG Heuer Monza and Mille Miglia Chrono I found it time to go for the all-time classic.... So time for a Rolex Sub! I've been searching, gazing and learning for hundreds of warstories on best sub's and how to mod to get the best one. Personally I was thinking of buying Angel & Jay's Sub on www.silix-prime.com. To be specific, it's this one: http://www.silix-prime.com/product.asp?id=1212 It's only 115USD and also has ETA inside as well as sapphire instead of mineral. Dimension: 40mm x 48mm x 12mm Movement: Autmatic ETA-2836 Dial: Black Bezel: Black Case: Stainless steel Strap: Stainless steel, with hollow mid links and solid end links Glass: Sapphire crystal Water-proof/Water-resistant: Yes Does this watch have the same issues other share as I cannot tell the difference yet? What about:fontrehautcrowncrown-guardsdate-wheelpearl.....?All info is greatly appreciated!
chrgod
These are very old pictures from Silix... I remember those from when I joined TRC two years ago... I will almost guarantee you that you will recieve a Sub diferent from the pictures, since the Sub changes all the time.. Silix is a very nice dealer, but his pictures are not always up to date. Davey
Ask Jay from some photos of what you'll get, I'm sure he'll be more than happy to assist. From what I've seen recently the CN subs have come a long way! The whole case is different, the bezels are interference fit and feel almost as good as the TW/MBW versions.
