Is This Bentley A Good Rep?

Any problems with it? Is it waterproof? I am a noob when it comes to rep watches. Thanks :)

I HAVE ONE AND LOVE IT, IT IS VERY BIG AND HEAVY LOOKS GREAT TOO. CAN NOT TELL THE DIFFERENCE FROM A REAL ONE EXCEPT FOR THE SUB DIALS ARE REVERSED. IF YOU GET THE CRYSTAL AR COATED NO ONE WILL TELL THE DIFFERENCE.

DON'T KNOW HOW WATER PROOF A REP IS,KEEPS GOOD TIME.

It has the newer 28k 77500 which is modified to make the subdials at 3,6,9. Aslong as you follow the rules of using one it should be fine!

As for flaws as stated above, also the date wheel is a little low (to be expected with this movement) and the stop watches second hand sweeps in 60 seconds whereas the genuine sweeps in 30 (hence 30 seconds chronograph)

Excellent point. Most people do not realize that the chrono hand of this watch moves twice as fast as a regular watch (30 seconds to go around the dial). So, with the reversed subdials, this is a pretty easy watch to be called out on. IMO, if you want a Bentley, go with the GT.

The only way to find out is to get it tested once you've bought it, or pay Trusty's $50 extra for a guarantee.

You say to have it "Tested" What does this test involve can it damage the watch at all?

Search here for testing. Far too many articles have been written on it.

No, there is no risk.

These Breitlings, like the Navitimers, are not the most water-resistant watches, even in genuine. Don't expect a diving watch.

My advice is DON'T EVER WEAR A BREITLING WATCH INTO THE WATER. DON'T EVEN WEAR IT ON A HUMID DAY! Breitlings are for PILOTS, not DIVERS.

A pilot who needs a waterproof watch is NOT anybody I want to fly with, if you know what I mean.

All Navitimer Series REPS that has the Slide Rule are not waterproofed and could never be weaterproofed. Althogh the Gens are good up to 3 ATMs. I have the Navitimer TT and ordered it waterproofed from one of the dealers here and I was told that the best they could do is service and seal the main case, but not the dial!

I was on the gym one time wearing it and forgot to take it off when I took a shower, and BOy, I was in for a big shock! The darn thing was fogged up big time! That scared the [censored] out of me.....I blow dried the sucker so many times, but after a few minutes, the moisture comes back......the best thing to do that I discovered to clear the moisture slow and easy is to put it on an eyeglass pouch (like one made by Oakley) and leave the darn thing (with face down) on top of your home heating vent overnight....that worked! Its been a month now and it still keeps time with no side effects from the Shower......whew!!!

Get the Bentley GT TT! Amazing watch, but me personally, I'm out of the Navitimer series.....I love my watches so much, I take them swimming and all kind of water sports~! Thats why I always ordered them waterproofed! If they can't be waterproofed, then I'm not buying it!!!
