Yep that's LIKE the watch I have owned since 2005. Mentioned in the General Board that I was so happy as the ExplorerII never showed up on any replica website (only Datejust, Daytonas, Subs, YMasters, etc)

Y series (same as mine) but it didn't come in a box like that? Looking at it, you won't be able to pick anything apart.

The back, Reps have solved the flush lug situation that was around for many years.

Feeling it in your hand and winding it yes. That will be the only tell. The brecelets no matter how perfect the look still feel "cheap" and jingly.

Trying to dissect from the photos won't help for this watch :(

Unless you can get the person (fat chance) do to a Superlume shot. Mine is freaking dayglow. I'll post up a pic soon.

Got mine in 2005 and it has lugholes and is Y series as well.

I've had it been taken apart several times and is confirmed gen. Three years ago they didn't have a Ex rep when I was collecting and looking specifically for gen to buy.

So again, the pictures of this rep or gen on ebay is virtually impossible to tell. :( Tough to call out with pics. Even Macro ones.

Spa: I guess it would be down to the superlume, gently rolling the movement to your ear, winding the crown, exposing the movement, or feeling the bracelet's "looseness".

Went back and looked at the link. I'm gonna have to call this a GEN.

Looking at the font of the Number 2 in the picture....and comparing with all other REP numbers I've seen. (Based on that 2)

It's a ever so slightly thicker black FONT.

I believe you, the looks of that one on eBay screamed genuine to me also...But i thought Y serial is a 2002 model

with no lugholes...
