Is it wrong to put a vintage strap on a modern watch?

My PAM090 currently has the stainless steel bracelet. I want to replace it with a nice strap. I have had my eye on a really nice vintage strap (pic).

The question, however, is this: is it

You should wear any strap you like, vintage or not...at the end you're the one that decides whether you like it or not.

I've got 10 straps for 4 pams and change straps once a month.

Thanks for the advice guys. One more question as this is my fist PAM and my first strap. Do I need to get tubes for it as well? Or will it be fine to just run the screw through it?

You'll probably need tubes, otherwise it might be loose, and will probably wear out faster too without tubes.

1. you can get away without the tubes, but the strap will wear better around the tube area with tubes.

2. the only thing WRONG is not putting the strap on that makes you happy
