Guys.

Just read this article in the News.

http://www.newswire.ca/en/releases/archive...7/02/c9303.html

I got it from a Post on RWI. Interesting reading!

:whistling:

Scott.

Mmmmmm, very interesting !! What does "Consumers should be very leery of purchasing high end goods over the internet..." mean ????

It took 3 years to complete the investigation?????? The guy generated over 1 million in sales??? What kind of law enforcement is this? Be interesting to follow and see if he gets any jail time. House arrest is the sentance de jour in Canada right now.

Nice one andreww! I especially liked this: His most quoted statement is: "To realize one's dream, one must first wake up."

LOL, no [censored] sherlock

I'd love to see what kind of [censored] he was selling. Seeing as he doesn't look asian, I can't see him having access to the good stuff!

Well they were "high-end replicas" ......whatever that means to them.

I see the RCMP only act on big business complaints....

The investigation was the result of a complaint received from Rolex Canada Limited.

Where were they last week when my car was broke into?

Now I do too........if that's so......F*ck 'em.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. He wouldn't be moving the quantities he was if he was selling as genuine. The press tend to write articles to put fear in your head, makes for better reading.

I leer at high end goods on the Web all the time--watches, women, even Barker Black shoes on occasion--but I'm leery about buying from sources I don't trust.

A few Rolexes, a Tag and a 66 other watches (of lower brand name in terms of watches, like LV, Prada, Gucci, etc) was what he had at his house. That one million could be generated by a couple hundred times that (3 yr investigation, means a lot of watches, lol)

Therefore, theres a huge possability that he could have sold them as gens. Anyway, IF he did, f'em.
