ravishingrick
Still enjoying my daily beater, have been wearing this PAM for more the 2 years. Allot of watches have come and gone, but have been wearing this for 90% of the time... Proves to me that swiss movement reps are the way to go... lfovco
Very cool. I can say the same about my 111 which I have been wearing for 2 years and 1 month, also about 90% of the time. Swiss is the way to go.

ravishingrick
Is that a Palp crown? Usil Yes it is a Palp crown, it has a Josh 036 crown guard, super lumed dial, high canon pinion and an OEM antique brown croc strap.
Falco
who said reps don't last I've had gens lasting a lot shorter than that
Highflyingclive
@RavishingRick.. I am still enjoying your 195 - a lot! Despite the Asian copy 6947, it is till ticking, keeping perfect time and looking very cool. I have four "Unitas" pams. Three Asian and one Swiss. The Swiss has died but all the riceburners are running perfectly. Luck of the draw, I suppose.
Pam-O-licious
Yup, 2 plus years and counting the "OG" Pam is still going strong! Beautiful 118 you have there..love the mods!
Guest avitt
Very nice 118 RR. Great mods! In a remarkable parallel, my first good "forum era" rep was a 118 from River, purchased on 2-5-05. It is still one of my favorites...I love the casual look of the Ti with Tobacco dial. Here's mine: Upgrades include: Davidsen hand set, lume work by Kent Parks, crown guard fit optimally to case, crown guard lever replaced with thick steel version (brushed to match Ti finish), G-Series movement, polished canon pinion, River spring bars, Don stap (recently replaced with Don Cuio Tobacco lambskin). Sir-Lancelot
I have a swiss 118 and it's well over a year old. I cant get it off my wife's wrist. I love this watch and may just have to get one that I can wear. Yours looks WAY better than mine tho. Very nice.

Luck of the draw, I suppose. The swiss movement should be easy to repair. Spare parts can be found every where and I think any local watch maker can fix it for you. robertk
I'm amazed at the reliability of some of my older reps. They have been running for two years plus without a hitch. Even then quality was verrrry good.
