PAMman Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 Check this out.......is it a gen or a 'homage'? The cannon pin looks suspect. http://www.network54.com/Forum/353391/mess...5/Here%27s+mine
V Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 GEN. It's the angle and the light that deceive.. Check the font on pAnerAi.. the A is correct ( - on A is closer to the top)
coolfire Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 I thought no more direct links allowed anymore?? Even more so, at someplace like there!!

PAMman Posted April 25, 2007 Author Report Posted April 25, 2007 There were a number of reasons why I was initially suspicious, including the cannon pinion. The CG lever does not sit flush with the outer curve of the CG, just like my rep and unlike my mates gen which is totally flush when it's closed. Also the general finish of the brushed case and polished bezel seem to be not quite the normal Panerai standard. However I was just curious......it caught my eye as I scrolled through the post.
