azerbyjam
Good spot Pix, hope we caught it in time, hate to think that some poor soul pays $1200 for that POS.
Pix
Obviously *bay does not care AT ALL about at least 2 guys pointing out a fake... I wonder why we persist reporting this kind of scam. After all, both *bay and the buyer paying 1000+ USD without verifying a minimum are not worth doing that. Are people truely so stupid ? I have to wake up... richard_uk
Did anyone contact the 'winner'?
Pix
I did. But I had to confirm my identity by giving... a credit card number or something ! I guess this is typical from ebay.com to avoid spam. I don't have this in the ebay of my country. And I won't give any personal data to send a PM to an unknown ebayer. I contacted the seller as well...
richard_uk
ok I've contacted him. I didn't bother contacting the seller as I guess he already knows exactly whats he's selling anyway.
Pix
Hi, I sent a second message. With my real id this time (the other one was a 0 account so maybe that explains why I was asked for a particular identification). Here's the answer :Wrong. Watch was matched up with serial numbers and verified by a local Mont Blanc rep to be 100% authentic. $1200 is a great deal for a $2800 watch. Then, let him burn in hell with the buyer... He's either a shill or retarded (sorry, I rarely lack of respect with the guys I talk to) And here's my answer Wear it well. But before, do yourself a favour and visit Montblanc's website... I'm a watch collector, own 2 Montblanc and tell you this one is fake. I would be you, I would have it verified by a Montblanc seller myself. Anyway, I was trying to help. If you are ok with your purchase, everything's ok and I withdraw any of my remarks. Kind regards. Well, I think this guy rather sees me as the scammer, so, let him be happy with his piece of &
Pix
And BTW, if really a MB reseller certified the thing, I wonder why we all are so reluctant to have our reps serviced by our local watchsmithes !!
richard_uk
He sent me the same reply, it's obviously [censored], probably a shill bidder. Don't give up on warning people, I've done it many times and more often than not get thanked for it from a relieved almost scammed buyer.

Pix
Hi, just for fun. I received this message today, Idon't know why he insisted. Took the watch to be verified by the Mont Blanc General Manager in San Francisco and it is 100% authentic. Just thought that you might be interested in knowing. Not all watches on eBay are fake. This one was just a good deal. Most happy for him... The Mont blanc general manager verified the rep himself and did not see any flaw. I must be som kind of idiot...
