PVD on gator?

Interesting look but I prefer the contrast of a lighter strap against the dark PVD and black face.

this look like the rep strap my pvd came with. its also the strap i wear the most with it. also i bought a white calf strap to put on it. i love the combo but most of you would not. if i had a good camera , i could take some pics to show you, but i dont....

Yea I'm liking it at the moment, I guess I always think of the PVD as more vintage or sporty.

Flav its a 24/24 TC strap.

This is the one that has pretty much lived on it, a well worn gabo strap.

I have exactly that strap on my 028A. I just painted the stitching in light green (luminova-like) instead of white, in order to match the color of the numbers and markers on the dial.

I tried several different straps on that PVD watch, and I came to the conclusion that black gator was the best fit.

But I also have to add that I think that that is the perfect fit with very black PVD, like mine (palp's PVD) is.

I agree that on lighter and/or duller PVDs a contrast fit might work better.

Yea my case was done by palp also so its pretty black, it would be good if someone else was doing true pvd coats as I have a couple of spare cases that might be cool.
