The 1938a probably didn't bring up any concern because it wasn't even offered by panerai, until now. Whilst it is an Omega based forum, my overall feeling was that they didn't have a great grasp of the rep scene. I realise you are specifically talking about Pams, but thought at least some recognition of one forum who are at least trying to come to grips with reps was in order. For those interested, who may not have visited- http://www.chronocentric.com/forums/counterfeit/ Please however don't go in there and upset the applecart- just leave them in their own world. I think that is it, a few people on the gen forums believe that reps are all about ripping people off. Perhaps situations like the 1938a now being produced by panerai will help some of the gen get to know the rep world a bit more accurately.
