flavor flav Posted May 15, 2007 Report Posted May 15, 2007 i wanted a vintage looking historic strap for my 183 and i found some super soft old saddle leather and whipped this up what do you guys think? i wanted something a bit different.
sssurfer Posted May 15, 2007 Report Posted May 15, 2007 what do you guys think? Honestly? I really like the strap: beautiful and very original. Congrats! I just wonder whether the 183 really makes for its perfect match... The strap has sort of a macho/casual look, while I personally feel the 183 more like a dressy watch...

Usil Posted May 15, 2007 Report Posted May 15, 2007 I like this a lot but not for the 183. I like how the stiching is more centered rather than towards the edge as most bands have. It adds a design factor that I have not seen before. Such a little change and a big impact on it's appearance. This would be good as a 26mm design for a Fiddy. Usil

Watchmeister Posted May 15, 2007 Report Posted May 15, 2007 You sew too. It is cool looking. I would prefer it on vintage as well though.
V Posted May 15, 2007 Report Posted May 15, 2007 Not bad for a first strap.. I agree it will though fit better vintage watches and not the 183.
Physher007 Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 Nice job flav! I love home made straps, it makes the whole watch so personal
reficul Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 I agree with everyone here... It looks simply great! However it will fit the Fiddy better or 217 or the more vintage looking models. Thanks for showing us and wear that in good health!
reficul Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 :black_eye:Btw, is that a gen? It looks awesome! Care to let a noob know?
