sjedwardz
Recently got the excellent watch from Josh Nana . Luckily just timed it as he got pp payment back. Received watch in the UK within about 8 days! It's a beautiful watch and has lots of presence on the wrist. Enjoy the pictures!!
FasTTaP
impressive pics ! cool watch... does the blues hand have the correct blue ? I'm interested in the SS/White gold one but the blue on his pics screams fake...

I'm interested in the SS/White gold one but the blue on his pics screams fake... The blue is quite a bit darker in reality, I don't think it looks fake. After all how many people would ever know this watch anyway and if they did they sure as hell know I can't afford a real one!!
eLiNK
Nice pictures. The text "Automatic" is quite fade. Is it correct or it is because of lighting? How's the feel of the finish? Edited April 13, 2006 by eLiNK
sjedwardz
Thats partly the lighting. The face of the watch itself is quite shiny so in direct light its sometimes difficult to see the writing properly, especially as its small! In soft light the face looks much better, but not as much bling!
eLiNK
Frankly speaking, I'm quite surprised (even purplexed) with how eleborate the dial is, considerig the price of the watch. BTW, do you use a polarizing filter with your camera? Edited April 13, 2006 by eLiNK
sjedwardz
No filter just careful positioning on the kitchen table to avoid reflections!, plus a decent macro lens on the camera.
eLiNK
Actually, the question was flagged to death. But noticing joshua has classified the glass on the watch as synthetic sapphire, whereas all watches with ETA movements carry sapphire crystals, I can't help asking whether the watch has a mineral or sapphire glass. I guess I'm trying to find an explanation for the low price of the watch. Edited April 13, 2006 by eLiNK
sjedwardz
I'm not too sure. I don't think it's sapphire, I've tried the water drop test and it doesn't bead up. I suspect its mineral, especially for the price. Its not a great issue for me anyway as its not an every day watch, just when I want something a bit different and dressy.
