KB Posted April 15, 2006 Report Posted April 15, 2006 Customs is like a lucky dip in the big fairground of life, unfortunately we don't get hit often for tax in the land of Oz, more often if customs gets it you lose it. That said customs have never touched one of my parcels to date. Ken
mossanti Posted April 15, 2006 Author Report Posted April 15, 2006 damnn..that a scaryy [censored]....
KB Posted April 15, 2006 Report Posted April 15, 2006 Not really, its odds on you wont need to worry, but you should understand it can happen........never spend what you can't afford to lose, Ken
offshore Posted April 15, 2006 Report Posted April 15, 2006 In over 100 transactions- new or used, rep or gen, I have never had contact by customs. That said, I use different mailing addresses, and with reps, always make sure the seller only ever refers to it as "watch", (not brand name), or watch for/from repair. I wouldn't be too concerned. offshore
