Brasileirao
What's Guys and Gals, New to this forum...must say this site is kick ass! Was looking for a Breitling Navitimer "Fighter's Edition" Serie Speciale. How do I go about finding a deal on here? Thanks for the assistance! NaviChief
I believe every dealer has the same supply of the fighters edition, however prices will vary. Read up on the dealers in the review section and pick your dealer as the "service" and reputation tends to vary. For personal recommendations, the dealer TWP (he is a member here, and dealer at RWI) is in the US (although the Navi's are dropshipped) and has them for $220 with excellent customer service reviews. Also Ruby in China has good reviews and usually the near the lowest prices, inspects the pieces for you, and sends you pictures of your watch before you pay. Here are some pictures to further entice you, you picked a great piece! http://www.rwg.cc/members/Breitling-Naviti...T-1-t25597.html http://www.rwg.cc/members/Breitling-Naviti...T-2-t25806.html

Brasileirao
Ok - noob question. Where do I go to check out the reviews and how do I start the speaking to dealers?
b16a2
If you click on the Breitling section, right at the top there is a 'sticky' thread, 'community guide to best Breitling rep's', have a look through there, that has all the info you would need. As far as dealers, I recommend upgrading your membership

I want to get into contact with TWP about Breitling Navitimer "Fighter's Edition" Serie Speciale. I udpated my membership to Member - the one time fee paid. Do I need to upgrade it higher in order to interact with a dealer? Thanks again! T
NaviChief
TWP isn't in the dealers section here, but he is a member. Search for him in "members" and send him a PM, its all downhill from there! Edited May 23, 2007 by chief3630
Brasileirao
What's up guys....so after some research. I'm down to two watches: Navitimer White Dial Stick Markers Working Chronograph and Bentley 30s Chrono SS White Dial Working Chronos 7750 I'm leaning more towards the Navitimer because it has a higher AR and the dial is not as large as the Bentley. It would be something that I could wear casually... Final thoughts? Here is the spec on the Navitimer: Model : SS Case, Off White Dial, Off White Subdials, Stick Markers on SS Bracelet Bi-directional Bezel Movement: Asia 7750 Valjoux Working Chronograph movement 28800 bph Functions: Hours, Minutes, Seconds : Running Secs at 9.00 subdials, Chronograph : 3.00 subdial - minute counter, 6.00 subdials, hour counter 2.00 pusher - start/stop chrono, 4.00 pusher - reset Dimensions : Dia 42mm x 15.2mm Thk Material : 1 piece forged case construction, solid 316 stainless steel Back : Close case back with Detail Engraving Crown : One-piece Screw down crown with o ring Crystal: - Sapphire crystal with AR coating Water-resistant Thanks! andreww
Good choice. The Navi is far more accurate.
Rob1
Won't that Navitimer have the sunken datewheel? For me that's an obvious problem which is why I went for the Serie Speciale with subdials at 12,9, 6 and no sunken datewheel.

The face is white with black on the smaller dials. Which one has the least flaws?

Usil
While the Bentley and Navitimer look similar they are very different watches in terms of size and weight. The Bentley 30's model is massive while the Nivitimer is much smaller and weighs less. I like and have both. I lean towards the Bentley as a favorite as I have grown to like larger watches. Brasileirao
Thank you all for the great feedback! Again, I will post pics as soon as I get the watch. Usil, once I receive the Navi I think I'm going to order the Bentley 30's model. I will use it for more formal events... Once I see the quality and approve...I'm probably going to get hooked!
