ShawnBeever
Here's a few pics of my on going MBW 5513 modification project. Watch as recieved from Verbal Kint (the bloke is a star) straight out of the package, standard MBW problems with bezel, CG,s and Crown. The watch is fitted with the 5512 dial but I will be fitting the 5513 gilt dial that was also supplied with the watch. I have missed out the standard strip down shots as these are well coverd elsewhere. Reference shot shown the standard MBW crown on the left, the nmodified CG's and a gen. crown on the right. This shows the iner CG's modified This is the jig I made for my Dremel to mod the outer CG's. This shows you the left hand guard after grinding right hand guard untouched. Both guards now modded, just need sanding and polishing. Check the overall look before final sanding and polishing by placing the bezel and new crown in place, looking good! Next installment, fitting the new crown and tube.
