Feta1
So I was looking at my Tag Chrono yesterday (order from Trusty last Fall, fully serviced and waterproofed) and upon close examination I see what appear to be water spots on some of the dial (hour markers) . The dial and inside of the crystal are fine. Even thought I had this watched waterproofed I have never gone swimming with it or even showered with it. The best way I can describe it is that they look like the water spots that can get on your car after you have it washed. Anyone have a similar experience... or more importantly, how do I get them off!?!?!? Thanks!
cornerstone
Do you have photos? Sounds like an issue of humidity / condensation from when the case was last opened.
rangers158
T seems that the markers for the tag chrono can get tarnished after a while. Probably due to the metal used. I had to open mine up to clean it with microfiber cloth. After some time, it tarnished again... If you mind, you sgould get a watchsmith to clean it up for you. Did you open it yourself or did you have a watchsmith do it? If it isn't too difficult I would like to try it myself. Any tips or pointers? maxmilian
Take off the bracelet Open the back of the case Remove the crown and stem Remove the rotor and the movement holders. Take out the movement put it on a movement holder and just clean the markers I used a microfiber cloth If you serach around there is a lot of tutorials and pictorials on how to uncase a watch
