2005SUBMARINER Posted August 6, 2007 Report Share Posted August 6, 2007 (edited) hellow guys was just thinking that i only have a small life insurance policy threw my local union & its not very much about $50k .. was thinking of purchaseing another life insurance policy but know nothing about the subject . did some research , came up with term & permanent coverage .. can any one shed some light on this .. like how much per month a $250k policy would cost ? thanx in advance ed. hank7502 Posted August 6, 2007 Report Share Posted August 6, 2007 I am not an agent but you should get a term policy. It depends on if you smoke or not. Smokers get hit hard. I have a large policy through my pension fund - they can buy the cover 'wholesale' as it were (so it's substantially cheaper), and better still it's my pension paying the fees, not my taxed dollars, if that makes sense. If you don't have a Trust in the US the government will kill [no pun intended] the Benificieries in Death Takes... The best $300 investment you could ever make...
