Does anyone remember the scene in Amelie, where she walks the blind beggar down the street and passes all the candy shops, butchers, and bakeries? Were all those shops actually on the same street in Montmartre, or was that simply creative editing & if so, does anyone know the name of the street?

I'd say the rue Lepic/Metro Abbesses area (contiguous): it's all become terribly twee - particularly after being hyped so heavily as havens of Frenchness in the film.

this scene takes place (actualy ends) at the metro Abesse, you can find some touristic walktrough following 'Amelie' movie around Montmartre (should do some Google search before though).
