How to pop the crystal of IWC 3717

.... did someone already take it apart?

I'm considering to have the crystal ar coated and i'd like to have some info before having the try.

Is it a crystal press really essential?

I have done this on a few occasions but the crystal is quite thin on these. Gently tap it out from behind being sure to use a cloth against the glass. It will come without too much force.
