Admin
Gonna go out on a limb here and assume you are talking about western union? The main advice here is NEVER use it to a person who you do not trust 100% and if there are other payment methods available, like credit card, paypal or others, use those options instead. WU works like this; 1. You got to a WU office, fill out a money transfer form with info about who will receive money, etc. 2. You are given a MCNT number wich is your "reference number" of the payment 3. You give the MCNT number to the person you want to receive the money and they can pick up the cash in their nearest WU office. When the person has picked up your money, there is NO way of getting your money back, so this is a very popular method to use by scammers all around the web. But because of several problems with Paypal, Moneybookers and other payment methods, many of the members here are force to use it. So if you are dealing with a member here, do a little background check and see how long they have been a member and do a search for their name and see if anything negative comes up. Same goes for the dealers.
Guest Carl
It's just as safe as sending cash in an envelope through the registered mail- only faster. The Admin has nailed it for you exactly. I have sent and received by this method and it is purely based on trust- which only you can judge.
