rckh
Dear All: As IWC 3717 got an abnormal lug-width (21mm); I searched all over my homeland city(HongKong) but still can't found a suitable one. Finally; a member recommend me TWB aka "watchboy". TWB provide different kind of straps especially designed for IWC lug 21/18mm. At last I pull the trigger on 2 straps from TWB: 1.) GENUINE ALLIGATOR semi-matte black alligator w/ white stitch-spitfire style 2.) KEVLAR STYLE STRAPS black woven kevlar style w/ white stitch... Ceramic Topgun style (with rubber texture) They're expensive for my point of view; but after I recieved them I found the quality superb & very comfortable!!! NO REGRET!!! Here we go: 1.)After a whole day work; I found a package in my mailbox..... 2.)2 straps packed in seperate plastic-bag 3.)5minutes to compare & finally make my decision....I pick Kevlar Style this time; dear ALLIGATOR please stay in your bag for a long while, OK? 4.)Another 5minutes to remove the old strap & install a new one... 5.)Couldn't wait to try it on my wrist!!! 6.)Before I repack the ALLIGATOR; take a photo for it... Now; I felt my 3717 perfect!!! I'm happy with it. Thx for your time to share my happiness! Cheers, Raymond Chau

dluddy
Glad it worked out. They look great. Very nice quality and value IMO. I, personally, still like the SS bracelet on my 3717 though
Centurion
Love that look with the kevlar strap. It's so masculine and simple. I'm definately going for that strap when I purchase the 3717 myself.
eunomians
Every Watch Boys strap I have is as good or better than OEM IWC straps. I highly recommend The Watch Boys.

Eunomians I'm looking to get a quality strap and am deciding which way to jump. Do you rate your HK Tan strap as superior in quality to the WB straps? The kevlar strap does look real good. I might have to get one from TWB.
Romp
Does the deployment clasp make the strap bigger? im on the 3rd tightest hole atm with a tang buckle .. i heard some deployment clasps make it longer and therefore might not fit for me
eunomians
Eunomians I'm looking to get a quality strap and am deciding which way to jump. Do you rate your HK Tan strap as superior in quality to the WB straps? They are different breeds, so to speak. The Watch Boys straps are identical to OEM, and in fact, are actually better made than OEM! If you want the "stock" look, go for The Watch Boys. 2 bands stick out in my mind: the buffalo grain Mark XV strap and their Alligator straps. Like I said, they are the same specs as OEM, but superbly made and priced really low. If you are looking for something that is customized for the 3717, like a Big Pilot style strap, then go for HKtan. He makes the best Big Pilot straps period. They are thick, perfectly cut and, of course, the leather is of the finest quality. Cheers
dangerman
Thanks Eunomians! I ended up going with the HK Tann Big Pilot style strap in Brown Buffalo. Should be with me in a month or so. While I wait I'm tracking down a good buckle or deployant to go with it.
