llsteve80
Hey guys, where can I buy some datewheel overlays of different styles to stick on the eta datewheel? I have on with open 6's and 9's and I want some spares. Does any site or dealer sell them outright?
vmena
Luuenfat on eBay sells DW'a for rolex and ankther dealer named wholexxxxx (shomething like this, don't remember). You usually won't find open 6 & 9 dw's although the seller advertise them (typical "mistake"). If interested, I'm selling some dw's but closed numbers... check here

vmena
So thats the replacement DJ datwheel modded to be an overlay? isn't it too thick? Is quite thick, so you have to file the original DW and lift up the dial. Also, you might have to change the the hour pinion to a higher one to avoid touching the dial... you may want to lift up also the movement, but then get ready to solve a stem misalignment. Pugwash
I have a Watchmeister's overlay spare, if you're doing a 1665 project. Offers considered.

Ahhh yes stem misalignment. I had that once. At about 3 0'clock the hands were almost touching the crystal and 9 almost bottoming out. I'm sorry, but I'll pass on those for now, I need a nice thin one. Thanks though I have a Watchmeister's overlay spare, if you're doing a 1665 project. Offers considered. I forget what those look like, open 6's + 9's? Maybe for my DJ. Do you have a pic avail? PM me and I'll shoot you an offer. Side note, I heard of people making stickers, but I imagine they look like what they are. I guess while I'm trying to source some of these, I'll be trying to make one with my constant tinkering.
