LordRasta
Trying to locate the gen hands (all 3) on Ofrei for a 45.5 mm Planet Ocean in orange. I've already located the gen dial, bezel and crystal. The parts will cost more than the watch from Josh, but hey the alternative is to buy a gen and where is the fun in that? Plus the wife can "detect" if I enter a upscale jewelry store and diamonds are her friend!

watcher
If you have the UPO eta version then the hands should fit ok. The gen will have better lume though. As for the dial, one member tried this without success. The date window is different on the rep in that the date wheel is thinner than that of the 2500 movement fitted to the genuine watch. When he fitted the gen dial there was a gap on the date window becasue the wheel was not fat enough. good luck with your mods. I chose to stop after fitting the gen double AR crystal from Ofrei. That made a massive difference.
RWG Technical
I have seen both the rep and gen hands, I can't tell the difference. If it's the lume issue, just get it lumed and save some money... I have installed genuine Omega dials on these models with ETA movements, no problems at all...fit perfect...and everything lined up fine... LordRasta
Thanks Zig and watcher. When is all said and done, I'll be about 1k deep on this project. While that is a lot for any watch, gen or rep, I would cry a lot harder and longer over losing or breaking a 4k watch than a 1k watch. I'll get some pics done around the first of next year when it should all be done.
