  1. Would you say RWI could use a bit more sugar or salt? You know, to be a bit more "Savory"? Geebus ssr, you came in to RWI with a non-trusted RWI dealer review and shilled it up for your first post in the RWI trusted dealer section. We moved it to the looney bin for you. Edit, sorry this is your first post on RWI I believe. (Sorry) 2 days you say? Maybe you have unrealistic expectations about our hobby. I wish you well. (Admin feel free to edit if necessary, no disrespect to RWG.)
  2. I would just like to say that LOS did donate money to RWI after the raffles. I talked with him on the phone as well as Greg. As to the amounts that were given, I won't discuss that. It's RWI business. It's Mike's raffles. He was in charge of them, He donated some of the proceeds toward RWI. If you want to know the amounts, work 80 hours/week on the forum when it's down, put in all your free time on the weekends, try to debug forum software in the middle of the night, take the risk of taxes, charge-backs, and all other hassles with being an admin and I think you will see he has done nothing wrong. Respectfully, R2
  3. Nicely done! I know it's hard work but well worthwhile in the end for all. Kudos to you gents!
  4. I have a picture of one on page 2 of this post. Top pic is an older Incorrect He valve case. Bottom is CFC.
  5. J Bond that is a fine rep. You should wear it with pride. I have a couple of cases with acceptable crown guards that I am going to inquire about a service to micro weld the He Valve holes. Then I plan to redrill and mill a new hole for a gen valve, in it's proper lacation of course.
  6. Are you talking about the stitched rubber or the bond type? The gens are pictured here http://www.ofrei.com/page750.html but I suggest you go to an AD and look at some I think they are all seamed on the stitched rubber.
  7. Fransisco, this is a great looking modification and what a score on the correct He position case purchase. Enjoy.
  8. Ditto on the information. Hey PZ, have'nt seen you forever. Hope all is well.
  9. I was exaggerating a bit. I am just real peeved that some rep makers and dealers are passing off eta stamped Asian copies for more than 150.00 bucks. In my diabolical Disney mind they should be worth under 150 for CN stamped ETA's.
  10. OMG!! Bob @ OttoFrei is KLINK!
  11. Oh yeah, thanks Mars I forgot about ole elec blue. Good choice. Maybe I should sell me closed factory before the market gets saturated with a new 450.00 rep with an asian copy of an ETA 2824. Nah I think not.
  12. Chris you are so very welcome and I will help in any way I can. I also understand the hesitation of tooling up for this case. I also want the rep makers to understand you chould use it for: and and and Would we sell a thousand units on RWG and other outlets?
  13. My gen is at home but they are so friggin close. TBH, I have seen some variations in shapes on the gens from being overpolished. But they are close here is a quick snap shot. Incidently this has a gen bezel and a gen crown tube/crown installed. A direct fit.
  14. Oh and the bezel pearl thing is a trade off. If you can get the bezel off without damaging it you could theoretically locate a new hole to align a flat type bezel spring or take off some wire if it has an internal tooth bezel. So the built in pearl is good and bad. You wont lose it that is for sure.
  15. Hi, I would like to help if I can. I have a closed factory SMP case that I can loan to Eurotimes if he can find a maker to copy the case and offer the case for sale. How many cases does a factory require to make an ultimate version? The closed factory case also accepts the gen bezel with a bezel spring mod. Here are some comparison photos between a newer (incorrect HE ) rep case and a my closed factory model. It would seem real easy to take the new case and just relocate the He valve, replicate the crown guards of the CFM and copy the gen crown tube. The lug holes on the new rep cases have the spacing to fit gen straps. I also dry fitted a gen bezel on the new case and it fits very well. In summary, move HE, get some crown guards and use a gen style crown tube.
  16. Gottcha Doctor of the black rock.
  17. Thanks Spa, For the record, I see what Doc is saying and I completely see the point of view with the cash amount funneled toward a rep. I was just trying to show that whether it be a Polex, Omeega, IWC or any brand, it is still the same obsession at any price. Go Radio Go!
  18. We are all certifiable including you Doc! A strap here, A crystal there, there is no difference in your analogy to modify antique or a modern watch. Your opinion is a contradiction in flavors. A thick crust pizza would be horrible with extra cheeze but one of those good old fashioned thin crusts would really benifit. Cmon! It is an obsession fauxchizzle on your dizzle. If someone wants to go all out on 22's for his Faux/Jeep Hummer I say let him and I would encourage it. Why, because it is facinating and educational.
  19. Just get one these. http://www.ballwatch.com/preview/index.php...com_collections Sure they cost more but you get what you pay for.
  20. Too Funny V! I left out the shirt that says, "Dicks are Kool" just like the cigarettes.
  21. I coundn't have put this more eloquently Puggers. Big Black BB and Rob wear white J12's, they happen to be Hetro. I wear a 38 MM Aquaracer Automatic Gen, sure a lady could wear it as well as a child. I just happen to be hetro but I don't care if people think I'm gay or homosextual, I like the watch. If you worry about what other people say about you, Put on a shirt that says I like Vagina's and wear your watch without worry.
