Omega mark II, III, IV replicas?

Maybe the factories think that the pre-owned gens aren't expensive enough... or that they wouldn't interest the masses? Vintage Omegas are rapidly getting more expensive though (mainly the bigger Seamasters and Speedmasters).

But hey, there aren't many reps of ANY watch models that aren't in production anymore... even Rolex. Only MBK offers vintage sports Rollies. The Chinese factories don't seem to be interested in building quality ones. I've always thought it was quite weird.

The later Speedmasters are good buys, together with the vintage Constellations..

I picked up a Mark II Speedy for about 400 USD. This has the same quality movement as the Moonwatch.

Some of the later ones have more complicated Lemania movements, not as durable as the original. But nevertheless desirable because of the many complications. The older Constellations from the 50-60ties, powered by the chronomater-graded 500-series movements, are also a pretty safe vintage buy! :)

My bet is that you will never see replicas of these.. the market is very limited, and there are not any suitable movement to power ther reps.
