Triodus
I thought you all might find this intresting. I purchased my UPO in Dec 06. After about 6-7 months it started acting up, losing time, stopping running. I finally had enough and sent it to The Zigmeister for service, here is the intresting part. What follows is The Zigmeister's notes on my repair job from the e-mail he sent when the work was completed. "- movement serviced - the dial side balance jewel was out...found it on the back of the dial. - movement is an old one. - mainspring was defective and has been replaced. - movement was dirty - has been cleaned and everthing is working fine." While I am now confident that it will work just fine after The Zigmeister's work, I can't help but be [censored] that the movement in my new watch was not as advertised (NEW). I have sent a message to the Dealer that I purchased it from and am waiting for a response. I'm not really sure what to expect, if anything. It just goes to show you that it's the luck of the draw when collecting reps. Check your movements boys! "SOF"

RWG Technical
In reality this is not new or unheard of. ALL of the movements in our reps are SURPLUS ones, heck even poor old wacked out Bob Frei can only buy used surplus ETA movements... The degree of used varies a lot, from pristine NOS, to been around the block and then some. RG
