UB7
My new winder arrived today, got it for $40 bucks on eBay...Heres part of my collection and the thing in action, for 40 bucks you cant beat it: look between the movado and the swiss army and theres some discoleration in the felt, you get what you pay for...its pretty silent and seems to work pretty nice so far but we'll see :-P Edited October 11, 2007 by UB7
DuDro
I would be concerned about the larger watches rubbing against each other. Does your winder automatically change directions? Does it have selectable "resting" periods? Please let me know...I've been searching one without having to spend over $500. Thanks in advance! UB7
The only few that rubs is the PAM and BCE, but it barely even rubs enough to create any friction, but in anycase I dont keep it packed like that (did so just for the pic), for the PAM and BCE I let them have their own winder and all is well..Yes it automatically reverses when its winding. The top row has its own power button, and the bottom row does too..It winds for like 10-15 minutes and reverses every 4 minutes or so and than alternates directions. It rests for 15 minutes in between cycles and there is only 1 option you cant pick the duration of time/rest.Its also very quiet, I mean @ 40 bucks its not as bad as I expected it too be...Its actually pretty good minus the discoleration~ Edited October 11, 2007 by UB7
Pix
Good bargain. I have 2 <100 dollars winders. Look great. One has become noisy after a few monthes, the other one is still silent. Worth the money.
