Hi all,

Was just screwing in the crown and felt that it was screwing in, then it kinda slipped for awhile (like there was not resistenace) , and then started to screw in again...

Signs of stripping? =(

Thanks,

Edmund

Well it may be the crown to tube thread, or it may also be the tube to case.

You need to think this thru, Is the crown screwng down OK? and then things start to move?(Maybe the tube)

Is the tube case, a thread fit or pressed? ( I don't know these)

As I said ... think it thru.

Offshore

EDIT.. Just saw the other post on this.. there may be better info from owners in it!

i press in the crown, then start screwing it in... seems to screw in fine for awhile, then it slips (like it is not screwing in) then it continues to screw in again...

Sounds like an imperfection in the tube screw thread. If it's going in tight and remains tight, you're fine.

My is already stripped, The Gen Part will not fit the case, you need to get a spare part from the dealer who sold you the watch.
