Pugwash
For those who don't read RWI, I've finally got a Panerai. Supplied by Silix Prime, this is the cheap-ass $110 PAM111h. What can I say that ... um, Edge hasn't said before. It's superb. This is it on the the "big balls #4" strap. It's a Toscana Marina "Il Mupetto" Cappricio or something. Inadvertently named by Moggio, it is The Legend.

subzero1
Very nice, I have one as well, the AR coating on this model is the best I've seen.
infinitime
Very nice, I have one as well, the AR coating on this model is the best I've seen. Great pictures! As with almost all of the 44mm Chinese PAM models, this one suffers from two flaws (in addition to the obvious difference in the movement, of course): 1) the word "Luminor" is too wide on the dial, with the "L" extending past the inner tip of the 11 o'clock marker (the earlier dials were actually better, with the text at the right width); 2) the crown guard pin is too big, when viewed from the front, with the hole being too large. Otherwise, this is a heck of a deal at $110! Enjoy your watch!
infinitime
Also, this model has one of the most well-made display casebacks... with the very well done "serial numbering" on the perimeter.

Pugwash
Look how good a job I did for Pug, he's over the moon.....bless his wee ex-Pam hating heart!!! I still hate the modern designs. Even more so now I can see what Panerai can do when they get it right.
Pugwash
Wow..Great Pics!! Great pictures! As this is my first day taking pics of my Panerai, I've not even started warming up yet. I promise you a lot more pics of much higher quality once I've got to grips with the subject.
Pugwash
1) the word "Luminor" is too wide on the dial, with the "L" extending past the inner tip of the 11 o'clock marker (the earlier dials were actually better, with the text at the right width); 2) the crown guard pin is too big, when viewed from the front, with the hole being too large. 3) Recessed cannon pin. 4) It's missing the sales guy sniffing round for commission on another $3000 watch. Actually, I can live with point 4.
