marrickvilleboy
ok, my other project. Genuine dial and hands, I had to relum the dial as the indices were like black and had no glow at all. I'm happy to just use normal luminova, not skilled enough with the superlum haha. Again, Picked up a damaged Omega 2890 movement and got it serviced, so its running fine now. Case and bracelet i will put around the movement and dial soon, just waiting for a crown, as the old crown was broken. Will update when completed. thanks for looking! vric
wow.. you paid so low for this movement ! definitely a steal !
marrickvilleboy
well this project was quite expensive, should have just bought a good 2nd hand Omega speedmaster auto from ebay! The movement was damaged when i got it so it wasn't so much of a bargain, i saw the same movement working that went for $150USD! i've been getting omega parts so much cheaper from my source so i couldn't help myself but build this myself.
