Blue Aquaracer on Leather strap?

While the Blue Aquaracer looks good on the metal bracelet I am starting to wonder what it would look lik on a black or dark navy blue sharkskin or gator strap. Anyone try this yet and if so any pictures?

FWIW I think it would look awful - blue is bracelet only, black can go SS or rubber.

I think that blue dials contrast well with (or is that complement?) dark brown leather. I know it's a different kettle of fish but I'm on the point of buying an Omega Aqua Terra with blue dial and brown strap. Here's a pic of the gen. It's an unusual combination but I think still tasteful.

dark brown or antique brown goes well with a lot of models .. I like it..

Why not try it yourself since it's your idea

So I have done it on a 21mm (the proper size) black sharkskin strap with thick white stitching. I have pictures but do not know how to post them. If anyone would like to post the pictures let me know and I can send them to you.
