UB7 Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 I wanted to swap my band from my DJ to my sub b/c on my sub it's uneven and the clasp is on the side of my wrist almost because the last link doesn't come out - How do I get the band off? Do I push down on the spring bars? Can anyone help me with this? Thanks
Victoria Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 I wanted to swap my band from my DJ to my sub b/c on my sub it's uneven and the clasp is on the side of my wrist almost because the last link doesn't come out - How do I get the band off? Do I push down on the spring bars? Can anyone help me with this? Wait for better advice, UB7, because I've only done it a few times on cheap rep Rolexes, not an expensive one like yours possibly is, but yes, I just took a springbar tool (you NEED to have watchmakers tools in this hobby) and the bracelet with lug insert just popped out. I wouldn't try it with a paper knife, or similar.
LordRasta Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 I wouldn't try it with a paper knife, or similar. You mean like I did? I got the strap off but both spring bars went "boing" and flew off to who knows where. What size spring bars do I need for a MBK Sub? Get a springbar tool UB7.
UB7 Posted October 21, 2007 Author Report Posted October 21, 2007 Thanks for the quick advice guys, much appreciated
