Seems you have a good eye for a bargain, WB.

As my search string, Omega Seamaster Quartz, these results popped up:

Only the (icky) white dial SMP came up costing less than yours. Just make sure you don't buy the ladies' version. ^_^

Before you decide to buy it. Here's a few things to consider.

The bezel insert has been replaced - appears to be an aftermarket insert.

Also, the bracelet is aftermarket too. You can tell by the rounded push buttons and the lack of "825" markings on the endlink.

For a Quartz model, this price is a tad overpriced.

You can get 2nd hand Automatic versions for around 800 - 900, and I can tell you it'll keep its value much more than the battery version.
