cib0rgman Posted May 31, 2006 Author Report Posted May 31, 2006 (edited) Ubi, Thanks for your reply, I still would like to know where to get a 2846 movement. I was under the impression that iwas doing good, I purchased a Genuine Dial, I am still looking for a Gen movement, but now I guess I can use a 2846 movement. also I am looking for a vintage insert You keep screwing up with me. I wish I? have the same contacts that you have. Edited May 31, 2006 by cib0rgman
ubiquitous Posted May 31, 2006 Report Posted May 31, 2006 cib0rg- For a 2846, I would recommend checking in with the usual parts houses- Ofrei, cousins, etc. They typically have them, though I think Ofrei is currently sold out(?) The 2846 is a direct replacement to the 2836-2; they physically measure out the same, and I believe they also use the same main plates. It's a great solution for the vintage MBW's since they have the slow beat!
cib0rgman Posted May 31, 2006 Author Report Posted May 31, 2006 UBI Well I followed your advice and I found this http://www.clockspares.net/breaks.asp?id=5848 can youtell if this is the right movement
