cornerstone Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 The phrases aren't a problem - it's Fedex-speak for "it's going to be late", that's why they say "beyond our control". But when it's in the destination country and it happens after it enters clearance; I'd be concerned. Fedex tend to be more vigilant on adding customs duties to things. Perhaps some of the other Dutch members might know more from experience with them locally. Best of luck, anyway.
By-Tor Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 When you order from EU, always ask the dealers to send the watch via regular airmail. Fedex and all other commercial shipping companies are synonymous with customs problems. Yes, it takes a bit longer but it's much safer that way.
