Id say they repped those 236 and 251 quite fast, since they got to the light just few weeks ago :) they look great :D

Actually, it looks like the first gens of these have the same principal flaws of the first generation:

1. Very prevalent recessed dials on gen. Looks like none on the Reps

2. The Font for "Panerai Luminor Daylight" may look light relative to the gen

In addition it is most likely the second generation inferior (read cheaper) light case and overextended bezel combo which results in a lighter watch. Also as someone noted, no individual serial number

Further:

But:

With elimination of all main hour numbers other than "12" the problem of weak number font on the original 188 goes away

My conclusion: Very good for a first gen. Add the recessed dials, palp crown and Finepics datewheel and these look pretty damn good. :)

I like them to, but what about the caseback, there is no serial engraved.

AMK000, did you ask her for the price.

Could you please PM me , if yes.

REgards

No , I did'nt ask her for the price but for the movement I guess should be on the $700+ range.

Damn, that was quick. Doesn't seem to be recessed sub dials in the black version - not a bad start though and those crowns look quite good too
