ZainoDetail
All, Any ideas on what might be the issue with my watch. It's a Gen Tag Heuer 1000 Professional from the early 90's w/Quarts movement. The issue is that the Second hand only moves every 4 seconds....but at that point it sweeps forward 4 seconds to where it should be. So basically it moves 15 times per minute rather than 60. Watch still keeps perfect time however which is what really baffles me. It's been a few years since it's had a battery so I suppose I could start there...but I'm still baffled how it's keeping perfect time if this is a battery issue. PAMman
Agreed - I had a PVD one of these and I can confirm that it's the battery indicator.
